Pier
2 is located south of Ponta da Madeira. It is built
in a north-northeast direction and planned to handle
vessel with a maximum of 155,000 dwt. The structure
of Pier is a reinforced concrete platform 280 meters
long and 24,8 meters wide, supported by missed sheathed
concrete piles of lost mold type.
There
is a mooring dolphins on the northern side, 26 meters
away from the platform and set back from to the docking
alignment.
The
shiloading rolling track is installed on the platform.

- Water supply
Water is supplied up to the limit of 200 tons per vessel,
with flow ranging from 20 to 40 tons/hour. There are
water outlets of 2½" of diameter.

- Bunker supply
It is allowed through outlets, during the loading operation
of vessels. However, CVRD gives itself the right of
not allowing simultaneous bunkering with loading, when
they find it dangerous.

- Ballasting
CVRD terminal does not have facilities for unboarding
sewage waters, dejects or contaminated materials..
